You should talk more to your peers. Even artists who earn some money doing commissions work "regular" jobs. The term "starving artist" doesn't come from nothing.
In order to support even 'just yourself' with your art, you'd essentially need a skill that's typically reflected by having few _thousand_ followers more - and significantly higher artistic output than you seem to have right now.
